Of all old plug-ins, I miss Focus Sharpen the most. My experience was that most of the old GIMP plug-ins (plugin-registry) stopped working in 2.10 (maybe 2.9 but I jumped straight from 2.8).

RuntimeError: Procedure 'plug-in-resynthesizer' returned no return values GIMP itself reports: Plug-in crashed: "resynthesizer.exe"Īnd the Resynthesizer plug-in provides the following traceback:įile "C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\python/gimpfu.py", line 740, in responseįile "C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\python/gimpfu.py", line 361, in run_scriptįile "C:\Users\Jerry\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins\plugin-heal-selection.py", line 148, in heal_selection

A python script then runs and then bombs. I then selected a moon in the uniform-sky of an image using Free Select Tool (yes, it is actually selected when the plug-in is invoked), selected Enhance/ Heal Selection and pressed ok (i.e., accepted the defaults in the Resynthesizer dialog). Resynthesizer Plug-in loads fine at GIMP start-up time & appears under Filters/ Enhance/ as well as Filters/ Map/ Resynthesize. Learned about the Resynthesizer Plugin and installed it from Github following these instructions. I just starting playing with GIMP (v2.10.22 on Win10) to learn a bit about it for fun. Any one familiar with the GIMP Resynthesizer plug-in and why the error below might be occurring? Thanks if so!
